Andy Vs. Dano is a competition site. We challenge each other on things that will improve us, and in the process, hope to inspire our audience to challenge themselves to improve everyday.

In a nutshell, I’m not normal. I think I have bipolar disorder, very poor memory, and possibly A.D.D. I am too optimistic for my own good, I’m really an introvert, and honestly, I’m a hardcore control freak to the pixel. I know this doesn’t paint a pretty picture, but it’s the truth. But if there’s one thing worth sharing, it’s that I’m a good guy. You can count on that.

I am a freelance web designer based in California, USA. Throughout the years, I have helped successful entrepreneurs, and ambitious pre-entrepreneurs with my design services. To my amazement, I discovered another passion of mines: to inspire people, to energize them, to give them a new perspective, and to challenge them. I absolutely love it. And regardless if I somehow inspire 1000 people or one person to challenge him or herself, I’m going to explore this passion of mines through this site.

I’m going to challenge Dano. I’m going to challenge myself to be better. And in time, I hope our competitive drive inspire someone in the audience to make their life better.

Hello, I’m Dano! I’ve spent my entire life trying to lose weight and this competition is my chance to get it right. I feel and know the extra weight is robbing of the best years of my life. Let’s do it!

Competition

Challenge #1 (Jul 01, 2010 – Dec 31, 2010)
So for our very first super duper competition, Dano and I decided to tackle the biggest challenge ever: our weight. We will be competing to see who loses the most percentage of weight by the end of the year. The loser of the competition has to do what the public voted on (yes, the poll is still happening). And the winner gets to brag about his victory.

This is the first competition, there will be more, and more, and more competition until the day we are old dudes. While we are taking on this challenge, go ahead and send us ideas for our next competition using our contact page. Just keep in mind that the competition needs to be legal and beneficial to us.

Oh yea! Almost forgot, we will be updating you about our progress in nearly every video, and we’ll have the ‘percentage weight loss’ stats up in the top right section of the site. So keep visiting the site, cheer us on, and remember to challenge yourself!!! ok whew, that’s it.

Challenge #2
Who knows what we’ll do for the second competition. So we’ll need your help. Go ahead and shoot us some ideas through our contact page and we’ll have a vote on our site at the end of the year (plus, we’ll mention the idea submitter for super kudos).
